I am making leather journals……..check them out or follow if you’d like!! This is a tumblr/my “official” website. Just pictures of recent creations and a little bit of info.
I was inspired by what I would personally like a journal to look like. The aesthetic is rustic and simple - I have just started binding the journals as well as the simple knot-style. I have new ideas every day - how I’d like them bound, how they should close - with a snap or a leather lace, wallet sized vs. journal sized, etc.
On the inside - the journals have off-white, linen, acid-free paper to preserve your writing. Each journal has double-sided end papers from vintage nature books.
Starting this Saturday, they will be for sale at the newly opened store, Normal Variety (1377 Prince Ave, Athens, GA, 30606) ((two doors down from Normal Bar)).
